Abstract
We synthesize and benchmark a family of nickel-iron layered double-hydroxide nanocatalysts for the oxygen evolution reaction in alkaline electrolyzers. The optimized composition achieves 10 mA/cm2 at an overpotential of 218 mV with 500 h of stable operation, offering a platinum-free route to lower-cost green hydrogen.
